Today I'll show you how to make money by uploading your files.
You might be aware of the popular uploading sites like Rapidshare,Megaupload etc which provides rewards for every download of your uploaded files.
So we will use the same reward program by same kind of site called hotfile.
The good thing about this site is that it actually gives the rewards in terms of cash and not in points.You can make fairly good amount of money by uploading the files.
So lets start.
Requirements:1.A computer with internet, if you reading this article then its obvious you have it..:p

3. Around 2 hours a day, I fell everyone can get at least that much time.
4. Patience , since the earnings will be very less in the beginning
I would like to remind that you can't just earn $100 very first day.The earnings will be like $0.3 - $0.5 per day for 4-5 days of starting.Later you can earn upto $10 per day.This roughly takes around a month or so to get you good earnings.
A good news is that even the people having slow speeds or the one having low limits on uploads and downloads can use hotfile if you have a rapidshare premium account.But I'll talk about it later.
You can also earn 20% from the sales of the premium account that is done from your file.
Now the thing you have to do is upload the file to hotfile and distribute it.
But here again, its not that simple.I mean uploading and distributing is simple but there is thing called "
RANK" in hotfile.
Now you will ask what the heck this rank is? and why its important.
Its important because it will decide your earnings.The typical earning chart according to rank is shown below.
So as you can see, if your rank is low you get paid less.
So we need to keep our rank up to get most out of the program.
Below are few things given to raise your rank
1.Use less storage: Hotfile keeps track of the upload-download ratio i.e. the number of uploads V.S. number of downloads.You should maintain this ratio to around 1:20 i.e. 1 upload and 20 download or even more.So if you just keep on uploading and no one downloads it your rank gonna drop to copper and you will stuck there.And you know, low rank = low earnings.
This is because storage is really costly and if you will waste it, you'll surely get demoted.
2.Selecting proper material to upload:
Its really important you select proper material to upload otherwise you'll not earn as you have expected.
I would like to take you to the chart again, as you can see the earning are as well depend on the size of the file.So upload something that is reasonably large but not very large.
There are 3 catagories according to size if you think carefully.
1.Applications - Small most of the time [less than 50 mb]
2.Movies/Games - Very large [~700mb/~ 5GB or more]
3.Music - Reasonably large [70mb - 300 mb]
So i would recommend you upload music.You can also upload applications but then you have to do more work and upload much more to get good earning.
I would also advice dont upload games and movies since they are very big and people dont like to download such big things from hotfile.I do have tried it and got only 2 downloads in 16 days after posting them on around 18 forums.And trust me the movies are latest and hot.So this will come under "Wasting of storage" and your rank will drop down.For big files people will prefer Rapidshare since now very large number of people have premium accounts.So they will look for RS alternative of the same file.
3.Deleting the useless files Delete the files that are downloaded very few times.Do the cleaning job once in 3-4 days.This will help you raise your rank.
4.Take breaks in uploading Sounds funny but take breaks in between uploading.Like upload 3 days and dont upload anything the 4th day (unless something very hot comes up).
This will help you maintain your rank.
5.Don't forget the old files Take time to advertise your old links also whenever you get chaces.Old things can earn you a lot since if your links comes up between 100 new ones, it will be the only one there and people wont have option so they will download from your link.Also since we gonna upload pirated stuffs your files will be frequently deleted.So try updating the same contents if you see its very popular and hot.
6.Don't take much time to post Try to post everything you've uploaded the same day.So be lazy to keep them pending otherwise it will effect your rank.
Now, read carefully.When you'll register a new account you will be given silver rank.
For the first, do uploading for like 3-4 days and dont touch the account for another 4 days or a week.This will surely take you to Gold rank.
From this point you should only upload the files when your rank is between 70% - 90% of gold.
If it drops below 60%, stop all uploading activities immediately.Wait for your rank to increase again and start the things again.
---- [[[ Precaution to prevent file from getting deleted ]]] ---This thing is actually applicable to all file hosting.
Just make your file unique.Don't just upload exactly the same file after downloading it.Try to add a text file saying "Uploaded by ABC" or something random stuffs.
Explaination how this will help [Not necessary but you may read to increase your knowledge]Well at the file hosting the files are identified not their name but there are many sofosticated methods like checksum or CRC[Remembered the winrar showing this error?]
Now when something new and hot thing comes up people upload the same things with same name like monsters.There will be thousands uploading the same thing.Now the hosting company owners are bussinessman's and not morons.They won't gonna store 1000 copies of the same thing and waste their precious resource.So what they do is they just store only one copy and to this one copy there are given 1000 different links to different people.
Now even if the file get reported from any one of the 1000 links the complete 1000 links will go dead.So it may happen that the file is not reported by any person through your link but still your link will go down.
Adding the text file will change the CRC and checksum and will cause them to recognize your file to be a differnt copy and they will store your file.Thus your links are now more safe.
----[[ Now for users with premium Rapidshare accounts ]]----Your life can be easy if you have a premium rapidshare or better a premium hotfile account.
Well in this method we gonna use the Remote upload feature of the hotfile.
So here's the tutorial on using the remote upload feature
Lets say you have the rapidshare download link.Copy all of them.Than go to the upload section HotFile's (Main site) and click to the Remote upload.
Paste the download links into Remote Upload section.Do not click the upload button... yet.Now you have to write into download links your RapidShare code. Do not affraid, HotFile isn't a scam site.And now click the upload button.Thaat's all. Now you have you HotFile download links. GO and share the linkIt you have large number of links you can convert the normal Rapidshare link into above given format very easily.Just read below for the method of doing it.
------[[[ Making bulk links into required format rapidly ]]]-----Now here's the easy way to make bulk of normal links to username:password@rapidshare.com.
You will only need notepad.
1.Paste your rapidshare links in notepad.
2.Click Ctrl + H do as shown below.
Now press
Replace All and dang....Your links are now in required format which can be pasted in hotfile ready for remote uploading.
